A Liam Kearney goal earned lacklustre Cork a late point at Richmond Park.

George O’Callaghan touched a 71st minute free-kick to the City winger whose low drive from 25 yards beat Rovers debutant keeper Russell Payne.

Rovers had led from the 36th minute.

A Trevor Molloy pass was deflected by City defender Colin O’Brien to Mark Rutherford whose cross was tapped home by Keith O’Halloran.
