Keegan backs James for England return

Kevin Keegan has backed David James to win back his England place before the season is over.

James returned to training with Manchester City on Thursday still reeling from the widespread vilification over his World Cup blunder against Austria and his subsequent axing by Sven-Goran Eriksson from Wednesday’s 2-1 win in Poland.
