Spurs dealt Davis blow

Sean Davis is out of Tottenham’s Barclays Premiership clash with Norwich on Sunday after injuring his knee in training.

New signing Michael Carrick and Michael Brown are both doubtful, also with knee injuries, and will be assessed after training tomorrow.

Tottenham’s three England internationals - striker Jermain Defoe, defender Ledley King and goalkeeper Paul Robinson - all returned from Poland fit and are set to play.

Coach Jacques Santini has midfielder Simon Davies available after the Wales international returned to training following surgery on shin splints six weeks ago.
