Bentley back for Canaries

Norwich manager Nigel Worthington looks certain to make at least one change to his side for Sunday’s trip to Tottenham.

On-loan David Bentley was ineligible for their previous game against parent club Arsenal and will return to the starting line-up at White Hart Lane, having proved his fitness for England under-21s in Poland this week.

Worthington may also decide to hand Youssef Safri his first full start. The Morocco midfielder came on at half-time against the Gunners.

Gary Doherty looks set to lead the line for the third game in succession alongside Darren Huckerby.

Provisional squad: Green, Drury, Charlton, Fleming, Edworthy, McVeigh, Safri, Francis, Bentley, Doherty, Huckerby, Helveg, McKenzie, Svensson, Jonson, Henderson, Jarvis, Ward.
