Vikings set up weekend friendlies

Dublin City have lined up a friendly double header for the weekend in the absence of eircom League commitments.

The premier division’s bottom club had already arranged to travel to Oriel Park for a match against Dundalk tomorrow night at 7.30pm and they have added another friendly fixture against Bray for Sunday afternoon.

Kick-off at the Carlisle Grounds is 3pm and Vikings boss Roddy Collins is hoping to give a run-out to new Polish signing Woijeck Karzan in both games while the player awaits international clearance.

Premiership veterans Efan Ekoku, Carlton Palmer and Keith Rowland will not play any part, though, while Grant Cooper is another absentee and Adam Rundle is injured.
