Athlone Town face injury worries
Athlone Town face injury worries and suspensions going into Friday's clash with Monaghan United at St Mel's Park (7.45pm).
John McNicholas and Michael McCann are both out due to suspensions. Padraig Moran (knee) and Niall Donnelly (back) are ruled out by injury. Graeme O'Keeffe (hamstring) and Adrian Murphy (toe) each has a 50/50 chance of being available.
New signings Paddy Mulvihill, Gary Murphy and Shane Brennan will go straight into the squad.
Manager Stephen Kelly said: "You've got to be confident going into it. If we play like we did in the second half last week, then yes, we have every chance of winning. If we play like we did in the first half, neither will we win nor deserve to win."
