Kevin Davies scored his first goal of the season for Bolton today, leaving Liverpool with an uphill task at the Reebok Stadium.

He got on the end of Henrik Pedersen’s cross after the Dane had got away from Josemi before delivering the ball.

Liverpool suffered a blow early in the game when Sami Hyypia came off with a broken nose and blurred vision in his right eye.
