Shels look to bounce back at Brandywell

Shelbourne travel to the Brandywell tonight determined to show no after effects from their midweek Champions League disappointment.

Shels play Derry City in an FAI Cup third round replay (7.45pm) and travelled north yesterday with a fully-fit squad and manager Pat Fenlon promising to make some changes in a bid to freshen things up after the 3-0 defeat to Deportivo La Coruna on Tuesday night.

Derry, with new manager Stephen Kenny at the helm, won 3-0 over Omagh Town in a friendly at Brandywell in midweek and the Candystripes will be in confident mood.

They kept Shels scoreless in the first tie at Tolka Park last week. Kenny has injury worries, though, with defensive duo Sean Hargan and Paddy McLaughlin both doubtful while striker Mark Farren and midfielder Kevin Deery are definitely out.
