Drogba beats injury fears

Chelsea’s £24m (€36m) striker Didier Drogba has been declared fit to face Southampton at Stamford Bridge tomorrow after fears over an ankle injury he picked up in the midweek win over Crystal Palace.

He could still face competition tomorrow from Eidur Gudjohnsen and Adrian Mutu for a place in the starting line-up despite opening his goal account for the unbeaten Blues on Tuesday.
