Savage charged

Birmingham midfielder Robbie Savage has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association after allegedly elbowing Chelsea’s Mateja Kezman.

The Wales international has until 6pm tomorrow to accept a punishment of a three-match ban, which comes into force immediately, or to lodge an appeal.
