Linfield linked with swoop for Crowe

Bohemians leading scorer Glen Crowe has been linked with a move to Irish League champions Linfield.

The 26-year-old striker, capped twice by the Republic of Ireland, is out of contract with Bohs at the end of the eircom League season this winter and unsure of his future under new player-manager Gareth Farrelly.

Linfield manager David Jeffrey is reported to be in the hunt for a proven goalscorer for the coming Irish League title defence and Crowe fits the bill, having scored 16 league and cup goals in the current campaign.

''When my contract is up, I will listen to anyone who wants to talk to me,'' Crowe said. ''I do not really know what the future holds.”
