Drogs bet on style consistency
Drogheda United will attempt to transfer dazzling league form into FAI Cup heroism tonight when they take on third round opponents St Patrick’s Athletic at United Park (7.45pm).
Pat’s may be struggling in the premier division this season, but whenever they have faced the Drogs in Louth they have brought out the worst in Paul Doolin’s otherwise high-flying side.
Two victories from two trips north of Dublin bodes well for Pat’s but Doolin has a full squad to choose from with Gary Cronin and John Flanagan expected to pass fit from minor injuries.
