Howlett on final run for Bohs

Gary Howlett takes charge of Bohemians for the last time tonight in his capacity as caretaker manager as the eircom League premier division side play host for the visit of Kildare County to Dalymount Park in the FAI Cup third round (7.45pm).

Assistant manager Howlett stepped into the breach for the Gypsies following the sacking of Stephen Kenny three weeks ago but will take up his new role as head coach after tonight’s game following yesterday’s appointment of former Republic of Ireland international midfielder Gareth Farrelly as player-manager.
