Forssell forced to sit out Chelsea visit

Birmingham are without striker Mikael Forssell, midfielder David Dunn as well as skipper Kenny Cunningham for tomorrow’s St Andrews clash with Chelsea.

Emile Heskey will play after treatment on the hamstring strain which forced him to withdraw from the England squad for the friendly against Ukraine on Wednesday.

Forssell cannot play as part of the deal Birmingham agreed when they extended his loan spell from Chelsea earlier this summer.

He will be replaced by Republic of Ireland international Clinton Morrison, while Dunn is continuing to have treatment for a torn hamstring. Central defender Cunningham serves the second game of a two-match ban. Martin Taylor will continue as his replacement.
