Ex-Candystripe Kelly joins Portadown

Former Derry City defender Darren Kelly has joined Irish League outfit Portadown on a two-year contract.

Kelly, 24, left the Brandywell for Carlisle United in 2002 during the reign there of Roddy Collins in a £100,000 (€150,000) move but was released by the English club last month after their relegation to the Nationwide Conference.
