Bohs sign Kilkenny keeper

Bohemians have signed goalkeeper Tadhg Murphy from Kilkenny City.

Former Kildare County keeper Murphy, 21, has been understudy at the first-division Cats to David O’Neill.

He has been brought in, said Bohs, following an injury to Bohs’ keeper James Hussey, the club’s U21 keeper.

Bohs, managerless since the sacking of Stephen Kenny at the end of last month, today released three U21 players.

Barry Maguire has joined Ashbourne United, Stephen Browning has signed for WFTA, while Patrick Kavanagh has gone to Wayside Celtic.
