Kerr: Duff will play

Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr has insisted Chelsea winger Damien Duff is fit and ready to face Bulgaria at Lansdowne Road on Wednesday.

Duff was not involved on Sunday as Chelsea beat Manchester United 1-0 with manager Jose Mourinho insisting that the player needs to overcome a “mental block” following his recuperation from a dislocated shoulder.
