The full-back has made 139 senior appearance for the Canaries since arriving from Peterborough in March 2001, and skippered them to the First Division championship last season.

The three-year deal takes Drury through to June 2007, with the option of another year’s extension.

“I am very pleased to have signed the extension to my contract,” the 25-year-old told the club’s official website, www.canaries.co.uk.
