Shearer initiated Celtic interest - Quinn

Celtic chairman Brian Quinn has claimed Alan Shearer instigated Parkhead interest in the Newcastle striker.

United boss Bobby Robson had already confirmed the interest from Hoops manager Martin O’Neill.
