Berson chose Villa over other offers

Aston Villa’s new signing Mathieu Berson has revealed that he rejected offers from clubs in Spain and Turkey to become David O’Leary’s fourth summer signing.

The former French Under-21 international has signed a four-year contract after completing a £1.7m (€2.54m) move from Nantes.
