On-loan signing Henri Camara is also pushing for a place in the side after scoring on his debut against Newcastle. He faces competition from Chris Sutton, John Hartson and in-form youngster Craig Beattie.

Bobby Petta and David Fernandez are still recovering from muscle and shoulder problems respectively.

Provisional squad: Agathe, Balde, Beattie, Camara, Hartson, Hedman, Laursen, Lennon, McGeady, McManus, McNamara, Pearson, Petrov, Sutton, Sylla, Thompson, Valgaeren, Varga, Wallace.
