City hope to gazump Bohs with Foley signing

Cork City may may make a late late bid to sign Dominic Foley after Bohemians sacked boss Stephen Kenny last night, the Evening Echo newspaper reported today.

Foley, who is keen to return to Ireland after a spell in Portugal, had agreed to sign for Bohs and was keen to play for Kenny, having met with him earlier and been impressed with his plans for the future.

But now a huge question mark surrounds Foley signing for Bohs and this could open the way for City to renew talks with the former Irish international.
