Bolton target Hierro

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is on the verge of adding former Spanish skipper Fernando Hierro to his cosmopolitan squad.

Allardyce held talks with the 36-year-old defender, currently out of contract following a season in Qatar, and is hopeful of tying up a deal within the next 48 hours.
