Wayside Celtic stunned Pat’s by taking a first minute lead with Wayne Callaghan heading home from a corner, but that was as good as it got for the LSL champions.

Pat’s eased their nerves when levelling on 14 minutes, Philip Sheppard racing through to shoot home.

The impish Sheppard then put Pat’s in front on 32 minutes when again getting in behind the Celtic defence from a Keith Dunne ball and he shot past Robbie O’Dowd.

Skipper Colm Foley sealed the win on 73 minute with a header from another Dunne free-kick before Aidan O’Keeffe added a fourth three minutes from time.
