Rangers manager Alex McLeish wants to have another look at Polish trialist Marcin Zajac.

Rangers manager Alex McLeish wants to have another look at Polish trialist Marcin Zajac.

The Groclin midfielder helped steer the Ibrox side to a stunning 4-1 win over Roma in Austria last night.

Nacho Novo grabbed a double against the Italian giants while fellow new signings Dado Prso and Alex Rae weighed in with the other two goals.

But McLeish was also impressed with Zajac and wants to see more of him in action.

He joined Rangers on trial for a couple of days along with Christoph Spycher, who will return to Grasshoppers today.

McLeish said: “The Polish lad showed a lot of what he can do but we could be gazumped by another bidder.

“He looked very quick and played in some excellent crosses but I want another look at him in a game situation.

“Christoph Spycher goes home in the morning but we’ll track him because he has impressed in training.”
