Birch resigns as Everton chief executive
Trevor Birch has resigned as Everton chief executive just six weeks after taking the helm at Goodison Park.
Birch, who previously held the same role at Chelsea and Leeds, took over from Michael Dunford on June 1 with his chief remit being to attract major investment to the club.
