Everton toast sponsorship deal

Everton have secured a £1.5m (€2.2m) one-year sponsorship deal with Thailand’s biggest brewer, Chang Beer.

The new agreement, which will see the product featured on the front of next season’s three playing strips, was signed in Bangkok.

In addition, three young Thai footballers will spend next season training at the club’s Academy.

Director Paul Gregg said: “For us there are no boundaries as we seek to expand the Everton business.

“We believes the opportunities for the club will grow with the support of Chang Beer.”
