Longford boss on recon mission
Longford Town manager Alan Matthews will be in Liechtenstein tonight to spy on UEFA Cup opponents FC Vaduz.
The midlanders travel to the tiny central European state on July 15 for the first leg of their UEFA Cup first qualifying round tie against the Liechtenstein league runners-up.
Matthews will gather some information in advance when he sees them in a home friendly against Swiss side Chur 97 at the 3,500-capacity Rheinpark Stadion, where Vaduz lost 2-0 at the weekend to Swiss champions FC Basel.
