Bruckner waits on defenders

Czech Republic coach Karel Bruckner has two major defensive worries ahead of the Euro semi-final with Greece at the Estadio do Dragao on Thursday.

Defensive pair Rene Bolf and Martin Jiranek are both being treated for injuries which led to their substitutions in the 3-0 quarter-final win over Denmark.

Zdenek Grygera is likely replace Jiranek at right-back but Bolf is expected to recover and should partner Tomas Ujfalusi in central defence.

The midfield and strikers should see no changes with an outstanding tournament so far for Bruckner’s men.

However, Ujfalusi, Pavel Nedved and Marek Jankulovski are all one yellow card away from missing the final should the Czechs get there.

Probably team: Cech, Grygera, Bolf, Ujfalusi, Jankulovski, Poborsky, Galasek, Rosicky, Nedved, Koller, Baros
