Bruckner plays down favourites tag

Czech Republic coach Karel Bruckner claimed his team did not want to be given the tag of tournament favourites as they prepare for tomorrow’s Euro 2004 quarter-final with Denmark at the Estadio do Dragao.

With former champions France having joined Italy, Germany, Spain and England on an early flight home following their defeat by Greece many have highlighted the Czechs as the team likely to lift the Henri Delaunay Trophy in Lisbon on July 4.
