England players say the earth moved

Controversy was still raging this morning following the state of the turf around the penalty spot where England lost their dramatic European Championship shoot-out against Portugal in Lisbon last night.

England striker Michael Owen was the first player to criticise the turf following the 6-5 penalties defeat.
