UEFA may take disciplinary action against Italian federation president Franco Carraro and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon after the pair suggested there may have been collusion between Denmark and Sweden.

The two Scandinavian sides drew 2-2 last night – exactly the result which was needed for both to qualify at the expense of Italy – but UEFA today insisted they were happy that both teams were playing to win.
