Dolan waits on injured trio

Cork City boss Pat Dolan has to wait on fitness reports from three of his players before naming his team to face Bohemians at Turner’s Cross tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

George O’Callaghan, John O’Flynn and Cillian Lordan are all carrying knocks from Cork’s Inter Toto Cup first-leg win over Malmo FF on Saturday night, and Dolan will not risk any of the trio unless they are 100%.

“We had a recovery session on Sunday morning and the three lads were all carrying slight knocks — that makes them a doubt for tonight’s game.

“I won’t risk any of them unless they tell me that they are 100%, and we won’t make any decision until just before the game,” Dolan told the Evening Echo.

Bohemians will hope to recover from a disastrous 4-2 defeat to Dublin City at the weekend.

The Gypsies will be without Bobby Ryan (groin) and Stephen Ward (knee), as they bid to turn their disappointing season around with a win.
