Molloy scoops Player of the Month award

Shamrock Rovers striker Trevor Molloy has been named the eircom/Soccer Writers Association Player of the Month for May.

The honour, his second after winning in October 1989 as a St Patrick’s Athletic player, comes as reward for a month in which he scored the only goal in a 1-0 win against Derry City, was impressive in the 3-0 victory over Shelbourne and played a key role in the 1-1 draw with Cork City.
