Rovers snubbed over Norwegian

Blackburn officials have had an offer for Norwegian winger Morten Gamst Pedersen rejected by his club.

The club submitted a written offer for Pedersen last night, but Tromso were quick to dismiss their attempts to sign the 22-year-old.

Rovers’ chief executive John Williams told his club’s official website, www.rovers.co.uk: “Pedersen is obviously a player who has interested us – so to have our offer rejected is disappointing.”
