Cork City U-21 begin title defence tomorrow

Champions Cork City will kick off their Under-21 League title defence at home to the Kerry League at Bishopstown tomorrow.

This year's competition sees several teams participating for the first time, including Tullamore FC, Inishowen League and Sligo/Leitrim League.

There are a total of 32 teams participating for the 2004 season - nine each in North and South Leinster, eight in Connacht/Ulster and six in Munster.

With the addition of Tullamore FC, South Leinster is the only enlarged section, up from eight teams last season.
