Mourinho to trim squad

Jose Mourinho will waste no time in axing a dozen Chelsea stars in readiness for next season.

The new Blues boss wants to work with a squad of 24 players – including three goalkeepers – and that means trimming the current batch of senior players, which numbers in the mid-30s.
