Dublin boost survival hopes
Dublin City 3 Waterford United 1
The Vikings gave their survival hopes a big boost with this rousing win.
Both sides hit the bar before Don Tierney put Vikings in front on 29 minutes when smashing a right-footer to the roof of the net form 18 yards to finish a superb four-man move.
Blues levelled on 72 minutes when Vinny Sullivan hit home the rebound from a Pat Purcell shot.
But that was it for Blues who had Mark Clifford sent off for a second booking within a minute.
Ray Scully clinched it for Vikings six minutes into stoppage time when blasting home their third.
