Maloney pens new Celtic deal

Celtic manager Martin O’Neill today backed Shaun Maloney to recover from injury and become a prominent first-team member by handing the youngster a new three-year contract.

The talented 21-year-old striker had his season cut short after suffering cruciate knee ligament damage in February and he faces a summer of rehabilitation in the Parkhead gym.
