Jimmy Calderwood has become the new manager of Aberdeen to replace Steve Paterson.

The former Dunfermline boss has signed a two-and-a-half year deal at Pittodrie after guiding the Pars to the Tennent’s Scottish Cup final and to fourth place in the Bank of Scotland Premier League this season.
