Callaghan resigns Athlone Town post
Aaron Callaghan has resigned as manager of Athlone Town.
Callaghan cited the travel involved in the job as the main reason for his decision.
Dublin-based Callaghan only took up the job before the start of the season, succeeding Jimmy Greene, who held the position for two seasons.
Assistant manager Padraig Dully will take over as caretaker manager for this weekend's game away to Cobh Ramblers.
The club will meet next week to discuss a permanent replacement.
