SFA won't bail out troubled clubs
Scottish Football Association chief executive David Taylor insists struggling member clubs will not get help to battle back from financial ruin despite the game’s ruling body showing yet another profit in their annual accounts.
Taylor revealed that turnover for the year 2003, excluding subsidiary companies, was up £2.6m (€3.9m) to £17.7m (€26.4m), showing a surplus of around £400,000 (€597,000) – although the SFA chief refused to disclose the total figure now at his disposal.
