Birmingham midfielder Robbie Savage has undergone surgery to cure a back problem – but insists he will be available for the start of next season.

Birmingham midfielder Robbie Savage has undergone surgery to cure a back problem – but insists he will be available for the start of next season.

The Welsh international will not be able to join in fully with his team-mates when they report back for pre-season training on July 8 as he has been told not to kick a ball for eight weeks.
