Pardew sticks with play-off team
West Ham manager Alan Pardew kept faith with the starting line-up which lost the Nationwide Division One play-off semi-final first leg 1-0 at Ipswich last weekend.
But defender Rufus Brevett was named among the substitutes after proving his fitness in the reserves following a nine-month lay-off with a serious foot injury.
Anton Ferdinand was the unlucky defender to drop out of the squad, while Don Hutchison failed to recover from a calf injury.
Ipswich manager Joe Royle was forced into one change because defender John McGreal failed to recover from a calf injury he suffered in the first leg.
Finnish international forward Shefki Kuqi earned a recall to the starting line-up, with Richard Naylor expected to fill in at the back for McGreal.
