Redknapp to stay on

Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric and manager Harry Redknapp have called a truce to their very public fall-out until the end of the season.

The pair have engaged in a war of words in the media over the last week after Redknapp went public with his claims that assistant boss Jim Smith was to be axed in the summer.

However, after clear-the-air talks today the two Pompey protagonists have agreed to put their differences to one side until next week, allowing Redknapp and his players to concentrate on tomorrow’s final Barclaycard Premiership game of the season at home to Middlesbrough.
