Celtic look for Old Firm whitewash

Martin O’Neill has made five changes as the Bank of Scotland Premier League champions looketo rub their arch-rivals’ noses in it at Parkhead today by completing an Old Firm whitewash of five wins this season.

Celtic, who regained the title at Kilmarnock on April 18, have lost three out of the last five matches and hav not won here since beating Barcelona on March 11.

But Martin O’Neill drafted in Stilian Petrov, Stephen Pearson, Didier Agathe, Bobo Balde and Jackie McNamara from the side which went down to Dunfermline last week with Johan Mjallby, Stephen McManus, Jamie Smith, Paul Lambert and Aiden McGeady making way.

Rangers manager Alex McLeish made just one change with Michael Mols coming in for Hamed Namouchi for his final Old Firm match.

Another man making his Old Firm swansong appearance was, of course, Hoops striker Henrik Larsson.
