Ranieri: I'd love to make things better at Chelsea

Claudio Ranieri made one final public plea to be allowed to keep his job as he defiantly insisted Chelsea had enjoyed a “great season” despite their Champions League semi-final defeat.

Ranieri accepts he will almost certainly be forced to part company with Chelsea this summer, with the club’s board having seemingly already taken the decision to replace him.
