Osasuna confirm interest in Larsson

Osasuna coach Javier Aguirre has confirmed his interest in taking Henrik Larsson to Spain.

The Celtic striker will quit Parkhead this summer when his contract expires with Italy or Spain his preferred destination.

Now Aguirre has joined the queue to speak to the Swedish international.

He told Radio Marca: “Larsson is an option. He is a very interesting player, and to me it seems attractive.

“The man wants to come to Spain and we will deliver an attack to bring him here.

“He is in our agenda, and if he does become available, we will take advantage of it.”
