Camara cleared of violent conduct

Wolves striker Henri Camara has been cleared of violent conduct at an FA disciplinary hearing today.

Camara faced a three-match ban if the yellow card he received for a foul on Southampton’s Jason Dodd earlier this month was upgraded.

But a three-man panel deemed the case – brought by match referee Mark Halsey after viewing video evidence – was unproven.

After an hour-long hearing Wolves boss Dave Jones said: “The FA listened and their decision has been the right one.

“All along Henri said the tackle was clumsy but there was never any malicious intent and this has been accepted.

“He’s got a good disciplinary record and he’s very pleased with the verdict.”
