Amoruso blow for Rovers

Lorenzo Amoruso will miss Blackburn’s match against Manchester United tomorrow and is expected to be ruled out for the rest of the season.

The Italian defender suffered a hamstring injury in training and his absence comes as a blow to Rovers who need just one more point to ensure Premiership football next season.

Andy Todd returns to the Blackburn squad after being dropped for refusing to be a substitute against Leeds but Nils-Eric Johansson is expected to start alongside Craig Short.
